PRISMATIST

I’m fascinated by birds - and also by the nests they build. As I write this I can keep an eye on two pairs attending to newly-constructed nests that I watched them build these past few weeks. Its a wonderful time of year for folks like me who treasure the sights and sounds of birds coming back into our lives after a long winter. As far as letters and stamps are concerned, I often feel nostalgic for the lost days of writing and receiving letters. Its seems we've lost something precious, including how we leave our highly individualized marks on the page. I can’t say exactly how these two things are connected, but they just felt right as I was moving my bits of paper around. That’s one of the reasons I love collage.
