FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF THE WAR ON IRAN – By Jim Kent

I take stern exception to the notion that the way to prevent a war is to start one, but President Bonespurs and his merrymakers can't seem to settle on whether that was the reason for starting this one or not.  They keep insisting that the war will last until their objectives are met, but they can't seem to agree on what those objectives are.  My personal guess is that they're just vamping until something happens that they can distort enough so he can declare Mission Accomplished. Sooner or later they'll remember that he can just lie about something and they can announce that, but by then they may be in too deep to get out.

There is some irony but no fun in the fact that the Duchess of Stepford was presiding at a UN Security Council meeting about keeping children safe while President Jabba and his pal Bibi were bombing a girls’ school in Iran, killing a couple of hundred kids.  Just extending to the rest of the world the benefits of the No Child Left Alive programme, I reckon.  Strange way to campaign for a peace prize, though.
